SIMON WARD trained at the Royal Academy of Music (London) in musical theatre & voice, and with the Actors Centre Australia.

Simon has appeared in Little Women, On The Town, The River, The Stationmaster (all London), Sunday in the Park with George (Little Triangle/Sydney Fringe Festival), Sweeney Todd (NewTheatre), City of Angels (RMS), Rumors (HMDS), in Oliver, as the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz & as the Big Bad Wolf in Shrek (all Packemin Productions), Trial by Jury (Sydney Festival), The Wild Party (Little Triangle) and as Marvin in Falsettos (Theatre&Company/Riverside Theatres).

He has also performed in Opera including Madama Butterfly, The Marriage of Figaro, Carmen, Die Fledermaus and Noel, Cole & Gertie with OperaBites and in an improv show for the Sydney Comedy Festival (NIDA).

Simon’s self-devised Cabaret work includes; Everything’s Coming Up Visas (London), Notes from Noel (London West End, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne), Bothered and Bewildered(Sydney Fringe), Simon Says!(Sydney, Melbourne), Is that how you're going to do it? (Sydney Fringe Festival), An Evening with Simon (Claire’s Kitchen, Sydney) and most recently Australian in Manhattan (Don’t Tell Mama, New York City).

Simon has directed across genres incudling a musical (Ruddigore), an Opera (Old Maid and the Thief), Cabaret (Is that how youre going to do it; Steven Kreamer’s - I Sing Songs).

Simon is a proud member of MEAA Equity Aust and EquityUK.
